The thing that sets London Collections Men apart from all its international counterparts is the mix of labels on the schedule - you're just as likely to see a designer fresh out of fashion school as you are a big global brand (see: Paul Smith, Coach, Dunhill). And one of the key ways LCM champions up-and-comers is via the Fashion East MAN Show - the line-up of which has just been announced for spring/summer 2017.

Sponsored by Topman, this season's catwalk will be Charles Jeffrey Loverboy (returning for his second showing after a standout debut last season), and newcomers Feng Chen Wang (originally from Beijing and shortlisted for the prestigious LVMH Prize 2016) and Per Götesson (originally from Sweden and famous for his garmets which contain what he calls "poetical functions", such as pockets to hide bottles of wine on the bus).

Apart from getting the opportunity to show on the MAN catwalk, these three designers will also receive financial sponsorship, expert business mentoring, and be exhibited in a top showroom in Paris.

But more than that, it's almost a guaranteed springboard to success in the industry. If you're looking for proof, check out the alumni of the programme: JW Anderson, Christopher Shannon, Astrid Andersen, Craig Green, and Louis Vuitton's KiM Jones, to name just five.Read more at:formal dress shops | cocktail dresses australia
